Knowing God’s Will

Note: Today’s post (“Knowing God’s Will”) can be used as the basis of a teen Bible lesson. Nothing too philosophical and not a lot of exegesis. Mostly a conversation starter with a basic overview of some Scripture references. Remember to take under consideration the context of each item. 

  • Romans 8:27 – “. . . the _______ intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.”
  • Ephesians 5:17 – “Therefore do not be foolish, but _______ what the Lord’s will is.”

The following passages refer to certain motives or attitudes that hinder us from learning God’s will. Read each carefully and then describe what hindering factor is being discussed.
